Learn how Black communities work together to lift everyone up!

Our Strong Community, illustrated for children

Hey friends, it's Emeka! Today we're learning about something that makes me SO proud — our STRONG communities! In Black neighborhoods all across America, people work together, help each other, and lift everyone up. A community is more than just a place where people live. It's a group of people who CARE about each other. They look out for their neighbors, support local businesses, and make sure everyone has what they need. Black communities have always been strong because of one simple truth: we are BETTER TOGETHER. When one person succeeds, the whole community celebrates. When someone needs help, the whole community steps up. Let's explore the amazing ways Black communities take care of each other!
